The book that I chose to convey through my composite collage was Three-Ring Circus by Jeff Pearlman. It tells the true story of when Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal combined to bring the Lakers franchise three straight championships - a tale of triumph, dedication, and adversity. I placed Bryant and O’Neal, the most influential players on the championship team(s), with two trophies looking toward the focal point of the composition: the final trophy needed to win their third straight championship. Same as the viewer, they look out to the Los Angeles city skyline and images of themselves that symbolize their passion and endeavors.
